Westaways export Authentic Butcher’s style sausages all over the world. Providing that a Health Certificate is available for export, then we can deliver there or we can arrange for consolidation in the UK. We supply our two best selling UK lines in bespoke export 400g retail packs these provide for extra protection and have the statutory information including ingredient declaration in six different languages.
We are used to providing full details on trace ability, positive testing for salmonella and working within constraints of Foot & Mouth Disease.
In addition to Retail Packs we supply Foodservice Packs according to specific customer requirements, typically we supply these in 1.2kg trays. Portion control (and cost per sausage) can be chosen by selecting the number of sausages per tray, from jumbos at 12 sausages per tray, our standard of 18 sausages per tray, or for breakfast buffets we do 24qty sausages per tray.
Sausages for export are normally supplied frozen with one year’s life from date of manufacture, we do also export fresh chilled sausage but this is on a case by case basis.
