The dry and sunny spell ithat we have enjoyed in April has given a great boost to sales with an all time record week during the month. Sales have come from an excellent Tesco promotion on "Family Packs" with 7.5 times volume uplift,. a deep cut promotion in Makro and very bouyant Export Sales .
The show season has started with a record one day sales at the North Somerset show on the May Bank Holiday, We are now looking forward to Devon County Show, Sherborne , and Bath and West Show in the coming four weeks.
Good publicity in The Sun with the graphic illustration of Westaways as a world brand, and The
Express did a nice centre page feature on exports with Westaways shown as a case study.
We can deliver our retail packs of sausages throughout the French Alps during the winter season. Deliveries are twice a week to your local store including names like Spar, Sherpa or Intermarche. So keep your eyes open........we expect to be doing in store demos in key resorts.
